Missing DNA Test Kits - USPS or FTDNA?

I'm really getting frustrated with this process, and can't help wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues.  I started a family project and ordered test kits for myself and another potential relative on 4/4.  Since then, we've had the following issues:

Relative did not receive a testing kit.  After 2 weeks, I contacted FTDNA and they sent him a second one.  That one made it back to them on 4/23.

I mailed my test kit on 4/9.  FTDNA never acknowledged receipt, so I requested a second kit on 4/20. 

I mailed the second test kit on 4/30.  A week later, FTDNA has not acknowledged receipt. 

I know the USPS is far from perfect, but I have trouble believing they lost all 3 of these items in the past month.
