My name is Mary Becker, and I am the group administrator for the Ards Peninsula Families DNA Project. I want to welcome you to our forum, and invite you to join our Ards Project.
The Ards Peninsula Project is a geographic project, and includes results from both Y-DNA (male line) and mtDNA (female line) testing. As such, our pedigrees will be posted for both direct male line descendants and for direct female line descendants, where applicable.
Because of its potential size, the Ards Project will occupy two websites, one here at WFN, for pedigrees and discussion, and a 2nd website at FTDNA for DNA test results.
We hope that this Ards Peninsula Project will grow to become a great research resource for those who are involved in both the history of their families from the Ards, and in the history of the people of the Ards in general.
