My closest DNA match was someone who's family came from N. Ireland, but I am closer to the DNA of one of the 4th century ruler of Scots in the 4th century, Colla Uais,  in Ireland before they moved to Scotland as reported at http://www.ourfamilyorigins.com/scotland/founderscots.htm
than I am to the other Irish McBrides.
