I visited the JULIEN farm in Hof parish, county Hedmark, Norway in July 2007 and swabbed a Norsk JULIEN.
He is also an I1a, however, not a very close match to us. His I1a came from Finland thru Sweden and his grandfather bought the JULIEN farm and took the name. We match 35/37 to a descendant from the adjacent KOMPERUD farm!!!!
We also match closely to many Scots.
