I am told that I am in Haplogroup R1b1c6

 Hi,
    I am still new to this type of genealogy, So would appreciate any help.  Here are my
 test results.

  Y-DNA certificate;(12 MARKERS)

   DYS#390 (23)
   DYS#19 (14)
   DYS#391 (10)
   DYS#385a (11)
   DYS#385b (14)
   DYS#426 (12)
   DYS#388 (12)
   DYS#439 (13)
   DYS#389-1 (13)
   DYS#392 (13)
   DYS#389-2 (30)
    Haplogroup R1b1c6  with an SRY2627+

   Can anyone help me to understand this?  British Isle right ?

This is R1b1b2a2d (M167/SRY2627) (formerly R1b1c6) noted in Y-Search as (R1b1b2d). Have you placed your results in Y-Search for comparison.

I know Ricardo . he is recorded in the R1b1c6 project (we still have the old R1b1c6 name) at :

I would like to take advantage of this post to ask all SRY2627+ (the SNP defining R1b1b2d) to consider testing at 23andME . Not everyone should test but if a few SRY2627+ were showing up we might find a few new SNPs downstream of SRY2627 .
