Group 3  Non NW Irish McLaughlins
McLaughlins in the R1b haplogroup who do NOT match the NW Irish modal
There are three families in this group that appear to be have a common ancestor.  Although we do not know where we came from, a closer examination shows that we all migrated to Texas.

This group consists of descendants from the following:

Samuel McLaughlin; b 1790, KY; m Sally ____.
   -Samuel Mitchell McLaughlin; b 10 Sep 1829, Bedford Co. TN; d 1900 TX.
    m Eliza Jame DANCER, 1850, McNary Co. TN;

William H. McLaughlin, b 7 Apr 1823, TN; d 1879, MS
m Harriet (Emily) BARRY, 1847, Davidson Co., TN;
    -Richard "Henry" McLaughlin, b 21 Mar 1855, TN; d 1938, Waco, McLennan, TX.
      m Mary (Bettie) SHAW;

William Locklin; b c 1814, MA; d bet 1890-1900 Hood Co., TX
m. Louisa _______.
    -Charles Edward Locklin; b 22 Jan 1859, USA;d 22 Nov 1917 Hood Co., TX
     m Harriet Agnes DAVIS, Muskegon MI

Please post here if you are a descendant of one of these families.  Perhaps together we can discover how we are linked.
