I am having much difficulty locating any DOCUMENTED blood line from James S (Scott) McClure b 10/20/1948 d 11/03/1891 (IL) married Mary Chloe Criley b. 1857 d. 1900.
There are two theories... one is that he is the son of Willam McClure (b 10/02/07 VA - d. 7/16/1856 GA) and Margaret E. Barnett b 1807 d 1859 ...
An another is that he is the son of John Allen. McClure (b 1816 d 1899) and Clarinda (Nase) McClure b 1817 d 1893.
DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY DOCUMENTATION REGARDING JAMES SCOTT MCCLURE his son, LEROY ED MCCLURE is my ggrandfather. AT A WALL!
