Does anyone know anything about the Philips of the Philips Electronics Company headquartered in the Netherlands?   The company was started by a Garard Philips, and his nephew Frits Philips ran the company for a long time including the WWII years.   He died in 2005 at the age of 100.   I understand Garard was a cousin of Karl Marx though his mother's side of the family.
