Hugh Calkins or Caulkins, born 1600 in either Chepstow, Monmouthsire, Wales OR nearCheshire, England.  He left Monmouthshire with his family in 1640 for America because of religious differences.  I cannot find any parentage PAST Hugh.  His father may have been a William Calkins, Conkin and other spellings.  Anyone have an idea?
