I would like to STRONGLY recommend that EVERYONE add your results to Y Search. The link is available near the top of your Family Tree DNA page.
This makes your results available to a larger global database which can be compared and cross referenced in a number of ways. This also provides for YOU to use the tools for your own research.
I also recommend that you upload your pedigree to both Family Tree and Y Search. This is done through a format called gedcom. There are a number of very good genealogy programs which will do this....OR; a simple and free program: Personal Ancestral File (PAF 5) is available at
