To all Y-DNA tested Walton men:
I would appreciate hearing from any of you with a confirmed Walton pedigree back through one of the four Walton brothers that came to the colonies with Wm. Penn, in 1682. Many genealogists believe that the majority of today's American Waltons are descendants from one of those brothers. They are known as "Byberry Waltons" and a number of them still reside in the Philadelphia environs.
The Byberry Walton 1-12 Y-DNA markers would be a major help for all Walton cousins seeking to document their genealogy. Walton men could be more effective in seeking a match with any cousin, if the Byberry Walton DNA markers were available for comparison. Thanks for any information you can provide on this subject.
