My name is Dmetri Bailey, but my fathers name is Frederick Rivers I took on my mothers last name because my father was not around when I was growing up, I had my Y-DNA tested and it came up as Haplogroup B I know Y-DNA follows the male line. But I am the only person with Haplogroup B in the Rivers Surname project on FTDNA. My Grandfather was of African Descent and My Grandmother is of Caucasian Descent. But I have heard rumors from my mother that my Grandfather was not my fathers biological parent, could this be why I am not matching with anyone in regards to Haplogroups ?
