We have a puzzle in our Willis family line that we are trying to solve. A James Phillips married a Sarah Packard in NC in the late 1700s. Sarah was a widow and had one son, William Willis, by a previous marriage to Jacob Willis . James, Sarah, and William packed up their wagons and moved from NC to Kentucky. The Phillips family later expanded from Kentucky into Missouri, then to Kansas. If any of these family members do a DNA test and match with Packard descendants, they may not understand why this match is happening. I can fill in the puzzle, and solve one for the Willis family as well.
If you are a Phillips descendant from Ky, and match any descendant of a Packard ... please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
