I am new to this forum and was impressed by what I have already seen.
Two things caught my attention.? One, I am compelled to correct and the other I need clarification on.
On the DNA Project page (
http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/h/hensley/pats.html) is the following data:
"1..Amos Hensley b 1778 Henry Co VA? m Susannah
....2 Jefferson Hensley b 1804 Burke NC m Catherine
.....3 Calvin L Hensley b 1829 Burke Co NC m Evaline Dicy Dale"
Calvin's first wife, and mother of his children, was Dicy Eveline DALE (my great grandparents).? In 30 years of researching I have not been able to PROVE who Calvin's parents were.? Does anyone have the source for this data?
I would like to know where and how the HENSLEYs connect to the BARTONs since another great-grandmother was a BARTON
