• Researchers who are not a member of the Surname DNA Project, but wish to share a family pedigree.

I notice on the patriarch page by my name it says that  "Georgia   m  Wm. Smith" .  That is true but where did that info come from?  Wm. was Lonzo's step-father and Georgia may or may not have been related to him?  I was just curious how it got posted by my name, it isn't on the pedigree that I posted today.  Maybe I had put it on there another time.  I also e-mailed Terry directly by email with a question today.  Was that proper procedure, or do I need to do it on this board?

Hi... Looking for information on the collins family tree, which would be of Black Descent in the state of Lousiana.  I have information dating back to 1843, but i do not know the rest of the family both accending and decending lines... Meaning that i know everyone from after my birth all the way up to my great grandparents, but i dont know their brothers and sisters and aunts and uncles...  Wanting to complete the full tree as best i can.
