I am going to post this as a caveat... Anything you might see posted on this web site is open to question, if you do not have copies of documents that prove a relationship... So don't be too thin skinned-- you may be challenged. The sources I am posting should always be treated as clues for research...... A good genealogist friend once advised me you need at least 6 good sources for each of your date events to really confirm them. Anything else should be proceeded by a not proven, probably or some say......
My intent here is not to scare anyone off.... Just be prudent in your listings... We have scientific evidence showing family relationships which should be coupled with provable traditional genealogical research as we currently know it. Otherwise the legitimacy of both our DNA results, pedigree/patriarch listings and whole Terry DNA project will be called into question by other Terry family researchers.
Note: This is not directed toward any one individual and I don't want to be seen as in an attacking mode...... Just thought I needed to make a statement...... I'm very pleased with the DNA results and for the most part a majority of the TERRY family postings...
