Webb/Hanley

I have a road block by the name of Pleasant Webb who was born ca 1762.  His son said he was Irish ... not substantiated.  I cannot find his parents or the name of his wife.  He had one son he named Thomas Hanley Webb.  There are several Hanley or Henly Webbs in my data base.  I pick up Pleasant in NC in the late 1700's.   I suspect that there must be a Handley, Hanley, or Henly in the wood pile somewhere from Pleasant Webb and back for the name to show up.  Have you run into any Webb and Handley marriages?

[John Hanley]

Been wondering about the Webb/Hanley connection, myself. There was a Cornelius Hanley and a William Hanley in Lawrence County at the same time. I haven't made any connection with Cornelius or William, either.
