1. Michael Sweeney was born 29 SEP 1849 in Cooltomin, Limerick, Ireland, and died 21 DEC 1913 in Houston, Harris, TX. He came over on the ship Mohongo which landed in Penn. in 1865. He was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Houston, Harris, TX. He was the son of 2. Edward Sweeney and 3. Bridget Madigan. He married Mary Ida De La Mater 20 JAN 1876 in Sedalia, Pettis, MO, daughter of Ralph Llewellyn De La Mater and Susanna Zublin. She was born 21 FEB 1852 in Newcomerstown, Tuscarawas, Ohio, and died 7 JUL 1933 in Houston, Harris, TX. She was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Houston, Harris, TX.
