Barton, who is the ?Line Leader? for the Thomas (1,2,3) Barton family of Stafford Co VA and for the David Barton married Ruth Oldham family, will be speaking on the use of DNA testing as a tool for genealogical research.? He has made at least one genealogical presentation each of the past four years at the BHS annual reunion and has provided numerous articles for the BHS Newsletters and website.? He also regularly haunts the Barton Boards and Forums, providing information and hints to those searching for their Barton roots.? He plans to write a book on his Thomas Barton family and has a growing collection of history books, which he hopes will help him describe the times when his ancestors were alive.
