My William Thorn simply "shows up" in Prince William Co., VA about 1715ish. He marries the widow Mary Peck/O'Rear about then & has a daughter Susannah Thorn, who marries John Reno. After Mary's death, William Thorn marries a second time about 1747, to the widow Sarah Muse/Carter & they have a son John Thorn about 1748 and so on down to me & my network of Thorn family today. My Thorn Tree will be posted here soon.
My quandry is, that this William Thorn has literally been linked to every Thorn Family in America at the time, by other researchers. Some may be correct, many will be wrong, I fear. In my research, I have been unable to locate any substance for this William Thorn being connected to any Thorn(e) Family in America. Mostly I find other researchers locate a Wm Thorn, with an unknown destiny. Who lives in the possible time frame & have made their connection, based on the POSSIBILITY that this William Thorn could be connected to another Thorn(e) line. I am not opposed to "possibilities". However for my research, I need to deturmine if there are actual facts available by other researchers, for these connections. So if any one wishes to discuss their connection for this William Thorn, my networks discoveries about William, or have information pertinate to William Thorn in Prince William Co., VA or his descendants. Please contact me.
