Genealogist Eric Brian Brewster:
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?It has been done many ways by alot of people, however in my 15 years of research, I have had to doubt myself.........question the names I have found but people have found names that link up with my Main Brewster Family. ? However, there are misconceptions out there, misinformation out there and not enough people staying on the Main Brewster lines that can help them make sense of the long lists of Brewster names that they see.

(1) William Brewster b. abt 1510-Married Maud Mann dau-Christopher Mann/Estate Will read on Oct 11, 1558 approved in Jan 1558-d.
(2) William Brewster b. abt 1535/1566?-M. Mary Smythe dau-William Smythe; Notes: William Brewster II, postmaster of Scrooby, Nottinghamshire-d. during summer of 1590.
(3) William Brewster b. 1566/1577-M. Mary Smyth Simpkinson abt 1583-Son Johnathan Brewster b. Aug 12 1593; Notes: Became Postmaster of Scrooby shortly after his father's death, became Second Bailiff of The Tower Of London & gave orders to Executioner to execute Mary Queen Of The Scots, was Securitary Of State to Queen Elizabeth I.
Note: Family Pedigree will alter abit here, the generations in later order are important not to be dismissed and misunderstood.
Noted Children Names:
Johnathan Brewster 4th
Benjamin Brewster 5th
William Brewster 6th
Samual Brewster 7th
Samual Brewster 8th
Alexander Brewster 9th-b. May 21, 1753-M. Eunice Hatcher Parker Aprl 23, 1871

(15) Eric Brian Brewster b. Feb 6, 1961

Eric Brewster: (Personal Note) I would also like to thank everyone whom has added reciently to the Family Tree information.   While I sometimes lag in contacting all whom I am an "country cousin" to in the DNA Searches, I am always amazed at the wealth of information that people add on this DNA Family Tree Data Base.

I have recient information that I have on my computer that suggests that the Irish, English, Dutch, French and Norse, Normans had an important link to the Main Brewster Family line in certain Surnames such as Brienne, Breheny, Brehon, Brehannan, Briwere, Brewers etc.   The Breton Brewster Family lines were preserved pretty much intact by King William The Great in his conquestual return to England in 1066 in making some Bretons knights of his forces and them advising him when he learned of them in Britanny, France.   An Marie Brienne is another oddity since she became Queen of Constantanople.   Her line may be directly linked to the English and Irish Brewsters as well, not much study has been done on the French Brewsters.....I believe some projects could be initiated in this area.   An William Brewer whom was an advisor to both King Richard I The Lionhearted and his brother King John Lackland I between 1196 and upon his death in 1228, had lead to the establishment of the English Boroughs as well as bridge projects at that time and the foundation of several towns in England, speaks much about the rich history of the Main Brewster Family.

I am very pleased to see such a response to all the info that I had put out and that others have replied too.

Brewster-Brehon-Breheny-Mac Darmaid (Mac Dermaid) Mac Fergus-MacGillomar Pedigrees: The Misunderstood Histories

Ok my fellow Genealogists of the DNA Trail; I believe that the hunt for all that can be found begins long ago in Northern Ireland, in an area of what is known as the county of Antrim, Ireland called "Red Bay".   It's ancient name was called Dal Riata, it was here that King Fergus Mac Gillomar (Mac Gillicuddy) had his settlement and castle.

(1) At about 541-542 AD was the time that the Vandalia and Mercians had attacked Ireland and were going to do the same to Britain untill King Arthur Pendragon Of Briton came to Ireland and started battling with the Vandalia and Mercians.    (2) The first plagues were spread by the Vandalia Fleets whom had started to plunder Ireland; where Carrack, Fergus is today.....I believe not too far away was the castle and village of King Fergus Mac Gillomar.

(3) It was here that the Mac Donnells and the Mac Dermaids can also be found in Antrim.   They once lived with the Mac Fergussons etc.    (4) the Mac Brehenys also lived there along with the rest of the above named families in the very ancient past that may be as far back as 100 AD.

(5) I would think that the kings of Central Ireland, North and Mid East Ireland joined King Arthur Pendragons forces to help fight the Vandalias and Mercians.   Finally at about 541-542 AD, the Britons and the Irish won several great battles over them and they fled with their warfleet to Briton and were presuied by the Britons and the Irish Warfleets and Warbands.   (6) Sadly not all kings of Ireland was impressed with the Britons and those that helped them, about 544 AD the Connaughtens under the Central Irish King, O'Connaire Connaughten Of The Red Hand became displeased with King Arthur Pendragon and with his Queen Gweniviere.   King Connaire Connaughten had always hoped that Queen Gweniviere would marry him.   (7) Connaire decided to fight King Fergus Mac Gillomar at about Mid-541 AD and told King Fergus to leave Ireland because there was no home for him any longer, in this battle was also the lost wager of King MacGillomars lands in Forfeit to King Connaughten.   (8) King Fergus Mac Gillomar takes comfort in Queen Gweniviere's assessment that King Arthur Pendragon Of Briton will re-locate all of the disenfranchised to what would be later called Scotland.   King Fergus decides to give up the battle and listens to his daughter's council.   (9) Yet some of the other cousins of the MacGillomar, Mac Dermaid-MacDonnellys and Mac Brehenys still battle with the Connaughtens untill 544 AD untill the Connaughtens have overwhelmed them and siezed most of Ireland.   King Arthur Pendragon Of Briton relocates the Mac Fergussons, Mac Dermaids, Mac Donnellys and Mac Brehenys that have survived to what would be Northern Scotland in much later years.

Information of this above mention history: Irish Family Names Map
& Clans Map Of Scotland

Information of this above mentioned history: Several Books from Stephen R Lawhead, "Merlin" and "Arthur" of The Pendragon Cycle; some internet links also found spoke about an St. Gildas The Wise; other links spoke about some name mysteries of the Irish and English surnames.   I have also summed up fairly strong arguments of Dark Age Historial Events that I try to tie up alot of loose ends on Surnames and their DNA linkage to mythological and "Legendary Figures surnames".

I made a copy of this pedigree, which was originally posted elsewhere:

I am disappointed that only direct male descendants can be tested. I come from a long line of women descended from Brewsters.

William Brewster the Elder
Love Brewster
William Brewster (b 1639)
Nathaniel Brewster
William Brewster (b 1714)
Timothy Brewster
Ephraim Brewster
Selina Brewster
Catherine Cordelia Williams
Mary York
Pearl Perry b 1907 Wishart, Saskatchewan, Canada
my mom
me

We have been told that somewhere back in the dark past, one of our ancestors was first nations but there has been no way to confirm this???
I have only used the women's maiden names here.
