We invite you to submit your "Pedigree" for this Surname.   Our Surname Project is primarily interested in your Paternal line, as surnames are passed down from father to son, just as the yDNA is passed down.

If you ARE A MEMBER of this Surname Project at Family Tree DNA, send your pedigree by email to WorldFamilies.net at mari@worldfamilies.net.  The pedigree will then be posted on the Surname Project's Patriarchs Page by Worldfamilies.net or sent to the Project’s Administrator.

Please include the following:  (If you have more information you would like to share, you may also post a more extended version of your family pedigree on the project website’s Pedigree Forum below)
•       Name of project
•       Kit Number
•       Name of person posting pedigree
•       Email address to be posted with pedigree
•       Name, birthdate, birthplace, spouse of Earliest Known Ancestor
•       List each succeeding generation, using only those four items of information (or substitute another item of information if missing an item)

If you are NOT A MEMBER of this Surname Project at Family Tree DNA, you are welcome to post your pedigree on the Pedigree Forum below.  We hope an interested researcher will see it and contact you to share information.

Hi, nfcarrier.

I posted the first generation of the pedigree you provided as I was unsure of the correct placement of the generations that followed.  If you have any further information that could help clarify the remainder of the pedigree, I will be more than happy to make the changes.  Thanks so much for your post!

Hi Carrie,
I'm kind of feeling my way around this site. The placement is correct, Thomas/1626 is my most distant ancestor, the second line are his children then I follow with my ancestral line. I have a ton of info but wanted to see how this shakes out before posting too much.

I have some questions:
1. Are the Barton pedigrees there to follow as an example? and will the eventually be removed?
2. The Carrier homepage http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/carrier seems to have been corrupted with Carlsen...... names (copied below) and data. I sent Terry an email about this, hopefully one of you can get their names removed and restore the 2 yDNA data that were there for Carrier.
3. What is your function in maintaining these sites?
