A correction: In the above study the Most Recent Common Ancestor ( MRCA) is not Robert CORMIER but his son Thomas-Charles CORMIER which is shared  by both patrilineages studied, that of Daniel CORMIER (via Alexis CORMIER m: Marie LEBLANC vers 1697 à Grand Pré, Bassin des Mines, Acadia) and that of Marc CORMIER (via François CORMIER m: Marguerite LEBLANC v1692).  We would need the signature of a man having another son of Robert in his patrilineage to be able to triangulate on Robert himself.  Thus if you are this man, please contact us at  FrenchDNA [at] miroise.org and upon successfull triangulation the signature will be added to the Catalog of validated ancestral signatures on line at http://bit.ly/YCyqc3    Best regards from Jacques Beaugrand.
