Patrick Flynn born (c). 1806 in Cork? Ireland, immigrated to Canada in 1834 and married  Bridget Sullivan (from PEI) in Chatham, New Brunswick Canada.

Patrick Flynn b. 1852, was the seventh of 9 children (Marks, Bridget, Margaret, James William, Elizabeth, Patrick. Peter, Catharine). He married Anne Carroll and after Anne's death he married Catherine Quinn.

Peter J. Flynn b. 1890, was the second youngest of 10 children (Bridget, Mary Ann, Mark Albert, Edward Charles, Catherine Grace, William James, Patrick G.,John Benjamin, Peter J. and Daniel Stephen). He married Catherine Moran.

John P. Flynn b. 1925 was one of 10 children (Patrick Raymond, Mary Agnes, Mae, Gertrude, Frank, Leo, John Peter, Daniel Joseph, Mark William and William James). He married Eileen O'Hearn

John Flin (b. 1754 in VA) married Nancy Unknown.  He died c. 1806, probably in VA.  They had at least three children.  Son Paul F. Flinn was born c. 1791 VA and migrated to Rutherford County, NC where he received a Land Grant from the State of North Carolina in 1837.  He had married Lavicia Padgett sometime before 1814; she is said to have been born in SC. 

Would like to know any possible ancestors of John Flin or any further information about him.  Would also like to know where Paul Flinn may have lived prior to 1837 and marriage date/location for him and Lavicia.

Many of the Flinn/Flynn family continue in Rutherford County, NC and environs to present day, though some early members went to Georgia and Texas, at least.
