I descend from George Gould, born 1788 in Withycombe, Somerset, UK
My problem is that two George Goulds were born in this village within a couple
of months of each other and I don't know which is mine.  These were the only George
Goulds born in that decade.

The village is now full of Goulds.  I have transcribed the parish records.

The family moved around 1830 to Bristol and my particular branch moved from there
to Pontypridd in South Wales around 1850.  Other Goulds moved from an adjoining
village, Carhampton, to South Wales at about the same time.
