Benjamin Franklin HANIE born? 3rd of March 1821 Pendleton District, S.C. parentage unknown, but census records state both born S.C.
Benjamin was in Gwinnett Co., GA by 1837 enlisted at age 16 for service in the Seminole Indian War -
Benjamin married, had children & remained in different GA counties until his death in 1888.
Most descendants use the Hanie surname spelling, except my grandfather, who could not read nor write just took what the clerks wrote, which was Haney

Benjamin gave his dates and place of birth in a sworn and signed affidavate
