Our branch of the Holeman/Holman family has a solid trail to Elias in NJ.  Before him or how he got to NJ, there is nothing.  There is some thin evidence (more speculation) that he or his ancestors came from Rhode Island.  There is also an obscure reference in a folder in a NJ library that his ancestors may have come to the New World via the Caribbean.  I have other info on the people shown here and their siblings, spouses, descendants,etc.  Let me know if I can help you.
