*John Keith had at least two brothers, including Samuel (b. 1783) and Jacob (b. 1785).  All three moved to Huntingdon County, Samuel by 1810 and Jacob by 1820.  John fought in the 36th Regiment of the Maryland Militia during the War of 1812, and moved to Huntingdon around 1826.  Nothing else is known.
