I've sent you the information I have verified by obtaining birth or marriage certs and census records on my gr gr grandfather Joseph Kirkpatrick.? Where I have pre-fixed with c I have not yet verified the dates with such records. I am descended Rachel so apart from my father who was George Leonard Kirkpatrick Sharp I have no other Kirkpatricks in my tree at present.? Hope this info adds a little to your data base.

I am a descendant of John Kirkpatrick, b. ca. 1770, probably in Closeburn, Dumfrieshire, Scotland, married Isabald Russell.  Their daughter, Agnes Kirkpatrick, was born in 1793 in Closeburn.  Agnes married William Wright on January 31, 1820 in Lochmaben, Scotland.  Agnes died  January 4, 1872.
