John Wilcox b1938 has traced my ancestry back to Edward Wilcox b1602 with a few assumptions because of lost records. Edward sailed to Boston from England about 1636 and settled in RI. His son Daniel b1632 and his decendants lived in Little Compton & Tiverton, Rhode Island. Then they settled in Dartmouth, Fall River, Freetown, New Bedford, Fairhaven, and Acushnet, massachusetts. 1638-1875
