Hi Adrian,

I know you are busy so please take it easy and just reply when you are really free, I ve got a question how did you manage to discover you belong to the CTS4528 - Subgroup, did you do a depth Y DNA  test or did you just ordered  an Advanced SNP Test from ftDNA?

Hi Sergio,

Thanks for taking the time to join :-)

The mutation was found in Geno 2.0 test data and several others have this snp - it may be random or it may be a new Terminal snp - more data from more testers will be required to establish this.

Hope that was helpfull

Regards Adrian

Hi Adrian,

I think this going beyond my limited knowledge of genetics, but I dont understand why do you focus in that SNP in particular to start grouping members http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/r1b1a2a1a, I download the my raw data from Geno 2.0 and filtered most of those mutations (mentioned in the tree) and most of them appeared in it :-/.so I guess I dont know how to interpret this data properly...I would appreciate some advice..thanks
