Do you have any information about a Breckenridge Adkins that a Kessiah Bush about 1848 in Monroe county, Virginia?

I am searching for the father of William "Wilson" Adkins/Atkins/Atkinson, b. 1815 Greenbrier WV (VA). Family folklore gives that he was born to a Meadows.  Further folklore shows that he was somehow related to Elizabeth Meadows b 1796 who married William Adkerson/Adkins in Monroe Co., WV (VA) in 1815. I have the marriage documents that show that Elizabeth was the daughter of Mathias or Mathew Meadows, b 1770. Marriage witnessed by John Meadows, a brother of Mathias.  I have no other records for the siblings of Elizabeth.  One option is that Elizabeth had Wilson before her marriage to William Adkins.  Another option is that Wilson was the son of a sibling or other relative of Elizabeth and adopted by Elizabeth and William.

Further Meadows data: Mathias was the son of Francis M. Meadows, b 1730.  Francis was the son of Thomas Meadows b. ca. 1680 in Essex Co., VA, etc.etc.

I am willing to join a DNA group if someone can direct me to the point of contact.

 looking for information an samuel earnest meadows died in ohio around 1978, not sure , about that date but should be close. this is my grandfather. he married Betty McGowan . Two sons . Then he married a lady named Mary in ohio, three daughters .  I believe samuel's dad and mom are letcher and clarecy meadows all being from around virginia area

My mysterious gg-grandfather never revealed the names of his parents or any siblings. He claimed to have been born in 1856 in Iowa. His gravestone in Talihina, OK is inscribed with 1844. My DNA test is a very close match to the Meadows and Meadors reported here and I am hoping to make a breakthrough after 20 years of dead-end research.
