I created this site to show the info on the O'Neill's of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean
also including those from Spain, the Spanish Netherlands and France. There are videos of Celtic Spain, history and cultures. New info on the O'Neill's and theories also a Forum for anyone that is a O'Neill can discuss or join.

Hello Miles,
I looked at your site. I see that you are S21 the same as myself. What is your opion of this clade? There are people who will try and tell you that S21 comes from the Germanic tribes. S21 and P312 are brother clades we are told by the experts. The P312 people are claiming that they are Celts. The Celts ruled the whole of Western Europe before the Romans according to some historians, and I never heard of the these Germanic tribes until I started reading the dna forums. A lot of people with the O'Neill surname are not M222,and it is supposed to be their signature. What do you think of that?

I see on your site that you have an Umpierre lineage that married into the O'Neill family. There is an UmpiƩrrez line that was from the Canary Islands of the early 1700s and wonder if they may be related to the Puerto Rican Umpierre. You can find the reference to UmpiƩrrez at this link in the second family: http://www.familytreedna.com/public/canarians-of-texas/default.aspx
