To all Gentry's or Y-STR cousins.

For those who are classified into the I1d haplogroup (even not confirmed) or down stream and sharing the same Y-STR pattern as those having tested positiv at P109+:

Some news:
http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/Y-DNA-HAPLOGROUP-I/2013-07/1372790134

The Gentry's should therefore test themselves for the same SNP's, as soon as available, as it may help narrowing down the time-gap between Y-STR and SNP results.

Still only one or two of you are needed.
In order not to request unnecessary test, please contact me and I'll confirm if you should proceed.

Regards,

Gentry's admin.

Before buying any SNP, you should verify this it is believed to be downstream from your current Clade.

From Ken's site, it appears that you need to be I1 to have any possibility of testing positive for these.
