I'm seeking to make contact with descendants or persons researching subject and his descendants.

This John Quinn was reportedly born in Ireland and had arrived in the states to the Baltimore area by 1862.  Sons apparently were Thomas Quinn (b. ca 1832 in Ireland) and Lewis Quinn (b. ca 1835 in Ireland).

We have some exciting Quinn/Queen YDNA information and are seeking to expand upon/confirm a relationship.

Thanks for any and all assistance.

Hello Eugene,

I wanted to thank you for putting what you know out here.  I will research this to some extent in April.

Keep updating this as you obtain more information.

Is Thomas Quinn from the north of Ireland? Queen is how Quinn is pronounced in Tyrone. Thomas  is a common name amongst the Quinn's of the Coalisland area of Tyrone never heard of a Lewis though.

Hello,

I have some information on the above family.   I have McQueen and Queen variants in colonial Maryland; Quinn spelling is found in PA and also VA, I believe.  I am related to Queen family in NC and their is a link with Lewis family.

There is exciting DNA potential and also genealogically.
