Well, now all of my new markers are in and my 111-marker upgrade is complete. I don't have any matches at 111 markers, though.

You and your 390=23 cluster is a great variety which I would try and get one more 111 marker upgrade done to get a good age and Tree work up. Maybe the Wales guy.

My closest match at 67 markers is a GD of 13. 

When you think about it though it shouldn't be too surprising. 

Only a very small percentage of the current R1b population in the world has taken dna tests.  A wag would be .1% and that may be optimistic.

Maybe you and I come from a long line of only sons, or male siblings that rarely had male offspring.  Our paternal decendant trees may look more like a pole.

My first and only 67 GD9 match was around a long time until my GD3 was found not via a match but on my FtDNA  Y-DNA - Ancestral Origins page. Only when I had FtDNA email this person was I able to get a project name and review it. Then many other off-modal searches in many other projects I have a great set of haptoypes. One of my 2nd closest GD6 was off my radar until he upgraded to 67 markers. I now have three good matches at 111 with my first match just at GD13. The important fact is that we all have cross matches to others I have Hts I have discovered. I have 19 Hts at 67 markers giving me a great deeper ancestry look, along with about 20 more with lessor markers.

Find your off=modals and look for matches everywhere.

I tried to start a thread about that, last summer -- nobody replied so it's not a thread, but at least it's a relevant post.  For one thing, it's about off-modals; but toward the end I also alluded to the fact that upgrading from 67 to 111 markers gave me a lot more new off-modals than upgrading from 37 to 67 had.

Self, kit 53479, is in my cluster and has 111 markers. I haven't counted up our genetic distance from one another.

Self and I share the following off-modal markers among the newly-acquired markers when compared with the R-DF41 and Subclades Project DF41 Modal:

495=16 (Modal=17)

522=11 (Modal=12)

452=31 (Modal=29)

Y-Gata-A10=13 (Modal=12)

525=11 (Modal=10)

715=23 (Modal=24)

504=17 (Modal=16)

Well, consider yourself lucky. I got a message that said that all my 111 marker panel results are delayed until March 11. And I thought that we were in the same batch...

Sorry to hear that. Maybe you should contact them and ask if they need a new sample from you, just in case they do. Sometimes they struggle with what they have and then end up having to ask for a new sample, which only increases the delay.
