Reached a dead end for proof of line. I'm looking for the father of William Anderson b ca 1795, married to Nancy Catherine Bowers b ca 1795. William list his birthplace as Virginia, on the 1830 Census when he is living in Habersham County, Georgia. Nancy list her birthplace as South Carolina. William and Nancy had the following issue:
James married Nancy Sisk
John Married Margaret Ann Chapman
Ausey, married Cansindia Taylor( My GGG Grandparents)
Causby Married Linney Dover
Rebecca two children, George Washington and William C Anderson. William could have been named for his Grandfather.
Sarah Married Martin
Polly Married Martin
William Passed after the 1880 census where he was shown living with his daughter Rebecca, born 1840, and living in Mt Airy district of Habersham county Georgia.
