Bonjour (sorry for my english)
With a PDF of Alex Williamson, I discovered a haplotype close to mine.
His name is ANDERSON, his ancestor is Scottish or Irisch, ysearch j6d4q, mine: cwmyf
Genetique distance is 15 to 64 markers, which is not extraordinary, but the comparison of our haplotypes with the modal of L21 (our common haplogroup), shows strange similarities!
(See attached image: green, our markers identical but different from the L21 modal, blue: different or divergent values, yellow: convergent value but not strictly identical)
I think the coincidence would be difficult to provide such a similarity.
So I ordered 111 markers to confirm or deny a possible relationship.
Anderson have six mutations (for markers from 67 to 111) relative to the L21 modal.
I hope that I will have at least two similar of the six.
Below, we probably can not conclude anything and, above, then we certainly from the same branch.
I am particularly interrested because my French ancestors did not moved for at least 350 years, then found a kinship with a Scottish or Irish, same old 2000 years is quite new to me!
Do you think we have a connection?
What are your predictions on my new markers tested?
