Glad to hear it Mitchell.  It is agonizing to wait.  My results for Z149 are still pending since 11/29/2012:

Z142
     12/5/2012    In Progress    493
     12/5/2012    Batched    493
     11/29/2012    Ordered    493

Maybe I will get the results on Christmas eve!  I hope so.

Probably will have to wait until spring to get the results!  Just kidding-maybe it won't take that long.

Welcome to the Z142 family.

Got my L562 result back today, which was negative

So I'm now U152> L2> Z49> Z142+ L594-, L562-

Not sure if I'm at a dead end or not.

Is there any point in purchasing SNPs L553 and/or L552 from FTDNA?  If so does it matter which one; or should I purchase both?

Looking for some expert advice.

Thanks

Steve Gilbert can probably let you know.  He is with the

http://www.familytreedna.com/public/R1b-U152/ project.

Answer from Steve is to wait for Z150 a la carte test at FTDNA.  He wasn't sure when it would be available...may be a few months.

Are you on ysearch.org?  I wanted to compare with my strs but I don't know which Mitchell you are.

I may have done this before but can't remember.  We are both  U152> L2> Z49> Z142+ L562- L594- L20- and L196-
