What's the Latest on Z2183?

In a quick examination, I noticed that there are two Z253+ L1066- guys, Alferness (kit 162176) and Hockings (kit N85107), who are Z2184+ and Z2185+. Since all the L1066+ guys who have tested for Z2184 and Z2185, as far as I can tell, are positive for them, apparently those two SNPs are between Z253 and L1066.

But Hockings (L1066-) is Z2183-, and all the L1066+ who have tested for Z2183 are positive for it.

I see one L554+ guy is negative for all three, Z2183, Z2184, and Z2185, and an L226+ is negative for Z2184 and Z2185 (no need to test for Z2183 in that case, since L226 is L1066-).

So, is Z2183 downstream of L1066? Do we know? Looks like it, but I have only had the chance to look at this this morning, very quickly. What have I missed? Anything?

Or are L1066 and Z2183 equivalent?

Guess we need an L1066+ guy to test negative for Z2183.

I guess Z2183 could still be upstream of L1066, and Hockings just didn't quite get that far toward L1066.

A test of Alferness for Z2183 might be interesting. If he came up positive, that would mean Z2183 is upstream of L1066.

Alferness has ordered Z2183.

Just to clarify - Alferness is the decendant of Falch; it's the same kit.
