John Phillips born 1801 married Elizabeth Cagle (b. 1812)dau of George cagle.

After being captured during the Rev. War, he was galvonized into the Union Army and set out west to help control the indian uprising. His family went with him. Last heard lived in missouri?

note not sure of this. Got info from cousin but Mary poly was born in Dec. of same year. Could this Mary have been born 1st?

Lived in the Pee Dee area of Montgomery Co NC in 1880.

This info is correct as far as I know. A family Phillips member had the DNA testing done. I found some of my family names listed in Kit #210403 here so that is why I am writing.
Any help with my Phillips line greatly appreciated.

Our Phillips line seems to be different and can't seem to go back beyond John Phillips 1801-1884. He died in Back creek area Randolph Co. NC. Maybe he was the son of an unmarried Phillips girl.
