An interesting finding has just been announced on Maju’s blog (For what they were...we are): a cave in Aragon with bones and ceramics. Interesting a picture: it seems something between “ceramica impressa” and “Bell Beaker”. The time is about VI millennium BC (and later of course), and could be the witness of the first agriculturalists from Italy. Here is a video: Patrimonio Cultural de Aragón.

Bethesda, Md., Wed., Sept. 5, 2012 — After a multi-year, concerted effort comprised of more than 440 researchers in 32 labs around the world, researchers have produced a dynamic picture of how the human genome actually does its job. Called ENCODE, the project links more than 80 percent of the human genome sequence to a specific biological function.
