Maybe it's a summer thing, but lately FTDNA has been posting results to my R-L21 Plus Project GAP "Received Lab Results" page very late in the evening. I used to be able to get on the computer around 18:00 U.S. east coast time and start seeing results. Now they're not getting posted until after midnight, with maybe a few showing up a bit earlier.

It's a little aggravating.

Soon I will be back at work (I'm a teacher), so I guess I will be waiting until the next day, sometimes late in the afternoon, to see the results.

Ah, well.

Soon it will be Autumn. Time for the clocks to go back. If you are on Daylight Savings Time....You will get your results an hour earlier ;)

I've already noticed the days getting a little shorter and the weather cooling off a bit.

I guess it will be a boring weekend on the y-dna front. Only a few str upgrades or parts of str upgrades came in last night. Oh, there was one L513- result the night (or early morning) before that.

Yawn . . .

I like having results to talk about. It's tough when the pickings are slim.

I am receiving my upgrade to 111 fastly though, and it is more and more clear that I am the ancestor of you all, dear sons!

I’d prefer you sang me “O mio babbino caro”, of course after having been subjected to a little operation. It needs a soprano voice!

We got some SNP results this morning that were dated 19 August (Sunday), but nothing unusual or otherwise startling. Well, there are two new DF41+ guys, but that's not shocking.

But today thus far nothing has come in yet but some mtDNA results for just two individuals (I'm talking only about the R-L21 Plus Project here).

Maybe tomorrow morning will be like Christmas morning, and I will see a bunch of new SNP results (or maybe my dad's initial 12 markers) under the "Received Lab Results" tree.

Well, some str stuff is starting to come in: bits of 111-marker upgrades.

Guess I'll go downstairs and have a beer (or three).

Well, L563 is now DF41+. I found that result quite interesting. :)

Well, that's true.

Of course, Creer is the only guy in the whole project who is L563+, but then only 11 men have tested for it. Most of them are also tested DF41-, though. Duffy is DF41+ but has an L563- result. He and Creer are the only known DF41+ guys who have tested for L563 (in the project, anyway).

At least now men with a DF41+ result have one more thing to test for.

35212 is the L563+ Creer in the project (ancestral surname McCrere, Ysearch ZYWYP).

38965 is not a project member. Our Creer has a 67-marker match with a man of the same surname (Ysearch 877X8), however.  That's probably kit 38965, so it's really likely a single family L563+ result (although the gd is 6 at 67 markers).

Ahhhh....duhhhhh I didnt think of the surname project, so now there are three L563 so it seems to be a family lineage SNP.
