Earliest know ancestor is Noel Waddle, born about 1805 in Mecklenburg County, NC. He moved to TN after marriage to Mary Cherry. He moved to Dade County, GA in the late 1830s. Date of death is unknown. I am related through his son, Noel Calhoun Waddle who's son Claud is my grandfather. I believe that Noel is the son of James Wilson Waddle of Mecklenburg County, NC, but cannot document with a great deal of certainty. If anyone can help me make this connection or has any other knowledge of Noel Waddle's parentage, I'd love the help.
