L459 Confusion

I hear that the recent L459 test results may have mistakenly been listed as L21+, when in fact, they were L21-.

I hope not too many people have been misled & ordered tests on the strength of those results!

Can you be more specific?  Is there some new instance?

We have the case a couple of months ago where an L459- result was found (for the first time ever) in an L21+ person but it turns out the L21 result was in error and it and he was really U152+.  I don't see how any of this would caused a wasted result.

Everyone who is L21** (L21+ DF13- DF63-) and everyone who is P312* (P312+ L21- U152- DF27-) should consider L459 testing.   We don't know if it is above or below L21.  We know L459 is below P312, but parallel to U152 and DF27.

I saw it on FTDNA's Forum Site, Mike. I meant to highlight the error, but of course, as you say, it is important for others to test L459. I'm in for L459 & Z245.
I'll edit out the last sentence for clarity.
