There's a new R-L21 in the French Heritage Project: Bertrand, kit 229499.
...
I'm trying to recruit him for the R-L21 Plus Project.

Good work!

You may already have these but just to make sure. Here are some other L21+ folks that I've found from non-Isles countries that I don't think have joined the project.

The 3rd column is what I had written down as the source project. Hopefully they are still there.

I happened to recognize one of the ancestors on your list:

Quote
6475   AVMKP   Scandinavian   Andrew Peterson Långåker, b.1657, Göteborg, Västergötland län, Sweden

That's from the New Sweden (Delaware Valley) colony.  The Longacre family in Philadelphia included the guy who designed the "Indian Head" penny, and other coins of that era.  Autosomally, it's American "colonial admixture," as well as being L21 in this case.

Neal the Red and a few other people here have ancestral interest in New Sweden, but I don't think there's an FTDNA project for it.  (May be mistaken.)  I've only noticed a few of their haplotypes, and the others weren't R1b.

That might be a good idea to start a New Sweden project at FTDNA. At least one branch of the Longacres married into the Rambo family, my ancestral Swedish lineage. I reckon we're kin.

It's even better the Longacres are L21!

We do have a few of those guys already, but some I don't recognize. I'll try to chase them down.

For a long time my Carrucan cousin (71421) only matched the Longacres.
His best match is 5/67 with;
6475   AVMKP   Scandinavian   Andrew Peterson Långåker, b.1657, Göteborg, Västergötland län, Sweden
He also has a 6/ 67 match with
229805   VWVJY   Scandinavian   Svend Sivertsen Bøen(Høland), b.c.1617, Høland, Co. Akershus,  Østlandet, Norway

Also in the same cluster was Gontaut from France (176268), and now a few others from England and Ireland.
Were guessing the connection was through a Viking into Ireland and England.
Carrucans are from Co Clare, Ireland. L21*.  (I should test him for DF13.)
