R-L644: Splitting DF19

Has anyone noticed that the SNP L644 is currently splitting R-DF19 just about exactly in two?

Look at page 1 of the Y-DNA Results pages of the R-P312 and Subclades Project. Scroll down to the DF19 categories, which begin with "Pab. R-DF19 (Need L644 test or result pending)".

Of the 11 DF19+ members of the project, four are L644+ and four are L644-. Of the remaining three, two need to test for L644 and one has an L644 result pending.

All four of the L644+ guys have 385=11-15.

Interesting, eh?
