R1b1b2a1a2a - who?

Hey guys,

I just received a new cousin at 23andMe as well as on my father's account who belongs to R1b1b2a1a2a. If I follow this nomenclature correctly, it would be M65+?
He is also mtDNA HV. Quite rare also.

I hope he accepts my invite, but I am prepared for the typical unresponsiveness.
Anyone know someone who tested positive for this SNP, or where it was found?

R1b-M65 is very very rare, it has been found in Basques at very low frequencies, I don't think it has been found anywhere else. It was found in 2 Basques out of 116 in the Adams et al(2008) study. On the other hand on  the Alonso et al(2005) study it wasn't found in any of the regional Basque samples. The latest Basque study Martinez-Cruz et al(2012) did not test for it, so there is a possibility it is under the R1b-P312(xU152,L21,M167,M153) paragroup. R1b-M65 is also not a member of R1b-Z196 which is pretty big in Iberia.

What's that person's paternal ancestry? I presume Basque would be a high probability.
