I am stuck on my Gunn family of Decatur, Ga. My great great grandfather was William Gunn married to Candasa Conner of Pulaski, Ga. They married in 1842 in Pulaski, Ga. They have a son, Thomas G. Gunn who was later found and died in Holmes, Fl. It appears to some that William would be the son of Thomas G. found in Pulaski, Ga in 1840, but his age would show him more as a brother . Thomas G. of Pulaski is found in Burke, Ga in 1830 along with a William and a David. These Gunns are so elusive, nothing has been proven so far except, Thomas G. in Holmes being the son of William in Decatur. We have the death certificate of Thomas G. my great grandfather. Help would be so appreciated, been trying to find this line for years now.
