Hello,
I am a descendant of two (seemingly) separate branches of Childs families in Melbury Osmond, Dorset. However the name ends in my tree with my maternal Great-Great-Great-Great-Grandmother Judith Childs born 1809. She was the daughter of Samuel Childs and his wife Elizabeth nee Childs. I can trace Elizabeth's genealogy back to her Grandfather Joseph Childs born 1703, son of Joseph Childs. Samuel's ancestry is a little less certain.
Do the people of the DNA study have any interest in such lines which may or may not have been found in the project so far? If it would be helpful I would be happy to post what I have found, but cannot participate in the DNA study.
